    Is Employment Contract valid?

    Hi,

    I got my H1 visa recently and my employer gave me an offer letter that had a clause saying that if I leave them with in a year I have to pay nearly 10000$.My employer is in Pennsylvania and I would like to know if anywhere in US this contract is valid ?
