Hi,
I was laid off this summer while working on H1B. I exited the US and entered on B2 Visa which I already had. My H1B stamp is not expired yet and I have another job offer now. I am currently in the US on B2. I will be very thankful for some help on the following
1) Do I need to go through H1B lottery again? I guess not, then, second question
2) Will I need to get a new H1B stamp on my passport? I guess not, then, last question
3) Can I go back home to India while the company petitions the H1B transfer and then, just enter the US on H1B. Will I need to wait for the petition's approval in that case or I can just enter when the petition has been filed?
