I have a few questions regarding the H1B Transfer/change of employer. Here's my current situation -
I was laid off in January and my 60-day grace period is going to be up in a few weeks. If I manage to find an employer while I am outside of the US, my understanding is the petition will be filed as a counselor processed. I have a valid H1B stamp in my passport and an i94 which was valid until Sept 2024.
My question is - Because it will be a counselor-processed application, do I need to go for H1B stamping again? Or can I just use my valid stamp and the newly approved i797 to enter the US?
