If H1B and pending i485 (family based) EAD combo holder has a small side income from their own business, would it still invalidate H1B visa?
After doing some research it looks like USCIS rules that re-entering with Advanced parole while having active H1B makes h1b invalid but I couldn’t find similar laws or guidelines for side income. Technically, having EAD makes u eligible to work freely, but would it clash with h1b’s “you can only be employed with sponsoring employer” rule? (I am not talking about the type of side business where you get a salary or have employees. More like a hobby and selling stuff online) https://9apps.ooo/
I understand that an immigration lawyer would be a better person to ask but if there is a clear rule about this I would like to know. Thanks
