When to file for h1b extension

Hi there,

My H1B is about to expire in May end. I will be travelling to India in March and will be back in first week of April. Will there any problem at point of entry since i will only have 45 days of visa. I will file the extension after i return. Any suggestions?

No issues. You can enter as long as the visa, the petition and the passport are valid.
