I am graduating in May, and was fortunate to secure a job early on in this school year that was willing to sponsor me for H1B. I got lucky and was selected in the H1B lottery.
Now, they give me the choice of either going through change of status or Consular Processing.
Because I am very early in my OPT (it hasn't even started yet), i feel like CP could make sense, to bring my total visa years to 9 years (3 STEM OPT + 6 H1-B). Still, I am a bit lost, what do you think. 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254
Also, I was filing the I-765 to get my Employment Authorization card, do I still need to do it ?
