Sharing H-1B approval with recruiter

Hi everyone, My H-1B got selected this year and it will be active on Oct 1st. I am in an interview process with a Big Tech company. However, after the 1st phone call with recruiter, they ask me for some U.S. work authorization documents, which I deem quite suspicious.
