I worked for 4 years in US on H1B VISA from employer-A. Then my VISA extension got denied (I-797 denied) in 2018 and moved back to India. After this i filed for VISA extension from employer-B and my I-797 petition was approved. But because of covid lock down the stamping was not done and later petition got expired and never travelled from employer-B.
Also employer-B did not share the approved I-797 petition copy or number with me, so i do not have any I-797 details from employer-B (and also they are not willing to share as the petition already expired).
Now i am planning to apply for H1 Extension from employer C.
Below are my questions?
1. do I need the I-797 petition number or petition copy from Employer B in future if i apply for H1 extension from employer-C from India.
2. If in future if i travel to US from employer-c, at the port of entry, will they ask for any documents from Employer B?
