H4 visa overstay - NPT Denied

Hi everyone,

please help

actually we applied H4 extension with NPT(expired h4 on April 14 and we applied extension on may 18).
we gave biometric last month and today morning case was denied because of overstay.
we don't have any medical reason but we didn't check her status.
planning to go to india for stamping.
will there be any issue for overstay.
what is the best reason to mention on ds-160 since there were no medical reasons.
