Hello!
I am going to have H1B visa transfer started in a few weeks. My spouse's H4 EAD is currently valid until Sep 2025. The company doing H1B and H4 filing is okay to file H4 EAD extension for as long as I take care of providing them with the required documents (along with the fee).
Is it recommended to do concurrent filing with around 11 months left on current EAD validity? If not, we would have to file around March anyways, but it may result in employment gap unless we get EAD approved either before expiry or re-enter the US with valid i94 in order to get automatic extension of 180 days after expiry.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you!
