Hello Experts,
I have a few questions, recently my brother filed for my immigration and I have received the I-797C Notice of Action Receipt.
I am currently working on H1-B in the US. I am planning to go to India for my brothers wedding next month.
1. Is it safe for me to travel outside with the immigration filed, will there be a problem on re-entry?
Also, my H1-B stamp expires this September, My 797 is valid until 2013 but the stamp expires this year, what is the best way to get that stamp renewed?
2. Can I get it renewed from within the US? If not, can I get it renewed from Canada? or do I have to go back to India again to do that?
3. Will there be a challenge in getting the new visa stamp, because of the recent immigration application by my brother?
