I have a query about my wife's H4 VISA. We are getting our court marriage done and she will be appearing for her VISA interview the next day. We have the traditional marriage ceremony a few days after the interview. The reason we are planning it this way is because, I have read that the mehndi or henna on the brides hands would cause an issue with the finger print reader. Also, I have read that its not advisable to have an interview for the VISA before the actual ceremony.
My dilemma is whether to appear for the VISA interview before the actual ceremony or to go for the VISA after the ceremony with henna on her hands. I would appreciate if anyone who has had a recent experience of similar situation can share their views. Thanks a lot.
