    Change job during H1 extension

    My current H1 (6th year) expires in July 2013. I am [lanning to move to company X who will file the GC (EB2). After I get I-140 I know I am eligible for H1 extension.Can I change jobs during this H1 extension?
    Also how long typically is it taking these days to get I-140.
