Taxes/medicaid with foreign student aid?

Hey all,

I have a family based green card but I am also a student and I'm still getting student funding from my home country because I'm doing an internship here as part of my degree from my home university. Now my husband is figuring out requirements to renew his medicaid and he has to give both our incomes, but we're not sure whether my foreign student funding would count as income. Would it count as income for this and will I have to pay taxes on it too?
