L1B - Resume Details

Hi All,

I will be applying for L1B visa shortly. After my engineering i have 3 yrs of Non-IT exp.
After this i got my first IT job. Now i have 8+yrs of IT exp.

While applying for L1B i am not mentioning my non-IT exp in my resume. Do they look into the resume in detail?
Will my visa be rejected for this gap b/w engg and first IT job.? Please can any one advise me on this?
