L1B Visa Extension approved at Ottawa, Canada
My Case ->
My L1B visa expired in June 2014 but had an extended i 94 till 2016. I was working on extended i 94. This was a risky interview as if rejected i would have to go back to my home country.

Ans. - I am a SME for the proprietary tool YYYY in my company.
3. What makes you a SME ?
Ans. - I have had an extensive xx months of classroom training + have 7+ years of experience and have successfully contributed to 4 critical projects. Combination of all this along with Onboard mentor training makes me SME for this tool.
4. Officer - This is impressive. I will grant your visa.
Officer was a bit strict - he was continuously crosschecking everything in my petition and DS160. Make sure you do not lie or mismatch information.
