I went for L1 Blanket visa recently and the VO gave me a section 221(g) refusal with a 14 Q questionaire which has to be sent to chennaisao by email.is Security Advisory Opinion and the answers would be verified at Washington. She asked me to give my visa issuance fee DD to her and told that the visa would be sent after 6-8 weeks after the additional administrative processing. She also didnt return my passport and the other papers in the folder. My company comes in the BEP program and its the first such case for them. Has anyone faced this isssue before?I have seen this SAO being asked for PhD students in bio-chemistry and other sensitive areas but I find it a bit strange fot L1 visa. My Masters is in Radar Engg(and Radar somehow berings thought of defence etc) and the VO about my Mtech discipline. Also, I had an earlier rejection on F1 student for PhD (insufficient funds) 2 years back and the VO got stuck on that as to why I wanted to leave a high paying job and do PhD.
