I work for a reputable company on L1 B visa. I have received a letter from my manager (and VP) stating that unacceptable behavior and a variety for unacceptable core competencies failure. The letter states further disciplinary action after evaluating my progress after 1 month. This is happening just 3 months after I was promoted. I have approached HR but they seem to be hand-in-glove with VP. I had a discussion with VP and my manger and the VP was just unwilling to listen to my point. I think I could be terminated within the next few months. I am trying to do whatever stated in the letter but the letter has many loopholes thru which my manager may say that I did not show improvement.
What should I do - should I fightback or just stay quiet ? What are my options ?
I will need to return to my home country anytime. Anyone here can share how to prepare myself for the inevitable happening within the next few months.
Sell off my car, sell off my furniture, handle bank accounts, investment accounts etc.
I am thinking of sending my family earlier so that they don't get into any illegal staying.
