L1 blanket visa to L1 premium visa clarification

Hello,

My L1 blanket visa has been refused under 221(g) because of two reasons
- Candidate has not applied for L1 premium
- Candidate unable to prove himself as specialized knowledge professional

Now My company has applied for L1 premium.

Clarification:
Will it be fine to go directly with the 221(g) letter or should I fix an appointment for this.

Please clarify.
