L1A to H1B Status conversion
Hello friends,
Currently I have my L1A stamped and I have an H1B with my previous employer, which is still active and expires on Aug-2017. I am scheduled to travel in my current capacity as manager with my L1A. In future, if I choose to switch to another company with my H1B after its expiration period, what are the documents that I need to submit? I believe other than an Amendment with a new employer (who offers me a job), I will have to apply for an extension also, if I am correct? However, in case of the Visa getting expired, how will this process be changed for my case? Please shed some light on this.
