Hi,
I came to US in September 2019 on L1B VISA valid till Aug 2022. However, my passport expiry was in May 2020.
Because of my passport expiry the immigration stamp on my VISA was valid only till May 2020. This also is tied with my work authorization (I produced I-94 as my immigration proof to my employers).
However, due to COVID-19, the passport offices were closed and I could not get it renewed till June 2020. My legal team helped me file a L1 EOS to enable my work authorization.
But the petition for L1 EOS got denied. So I have following questions:
1. What is my current status in US?
2. What are my options?
3. If there are no options, how much time do I have since I really don't want to travel during this COVID situation.
