Hello,
I need an advice on my below immigration query if you can please help.
I am working in US on L1 nonimmigrant status. My wife and child had applied for L2 dependant status extension together with my extension via forms i539 and i539A respectively in Sep2020, with wife as primary applicant of i539. Both were approved and have valid L2 status till Oct 2022. My wife's employer filed H1b which got approved and her status will change to H1b starting 1st Oct 2021. In this case is there any impact to my child's L2 and do i need to re-file it?
One more data point is that all 3 of us traveled outside US in Dec'20 and re-entered in Jan'21 on a previously stamped L1 & L2 visas which are valid till Dec'21. We got new i94s which are valid till Oct 2022 based on approved extension petitions.
Will be really grateful if you can answer my query so that I can take the next steps accordingly.
