from F1 to I visa

I have F1 visa now. I had been working as a reporter before i came here. About 2 week ago, i took a offer. So I want to change my status as a reporter. Could you tell me which documents i need to do it. By the way, my lessons will be finished next week. (6/26/07) I dont want to continue studiying anymore. If i apply to change status do i have to go to school or do i have opportunity?
my last quession is about employer letter. As i know, my company must write a letter to USA goverment visa office about me. Would you mind How the letter must be?
