Hi everyone, new user here.
I'm going to get my F-1 visa in a few days. But I want to change my name slightly (remove my last name and change my middle name to my last name). I plan to get a new passport for that.
I have read on this forum that you can travel with your old-name visa as long as you show both passports and name-change certificate.
But one guy in B-visa forum also posted that he was denied entry and told to contact US embassy of his country. (link: http://www.immihelp.com/forum/showth...nge-Visa-Issue)
Can you guys help me here?
Should I go ahead with name change on passport or should I enter US first and then change name through my embassy in US?
