  • Already have ESTA but just recently been denied F1 visa. Can I still travel?

I really need help with this!! Please, I cannot find this answer anywhere. I have an ESTA already and I have traveled on it 3 times now. However, I recently wanted to try and study in the United States so I applied for a student visa (F1 visa) and unfortunely it was denied because of 214b. My question is, if I already have an ESTA and my visa denial was only a student visa denial, can I still travel under my current ESTA?

I am aware that I would have to bring paperwork to the port of entry. I would bring proof that I am still enrolled in a university here and have family here and everything.
I just want to go on vacation with some family friends, like always. And every time I used my ESTA, I always returned.

Can anyone please help me? I have seen threads saying I can still fly and others saying I cannot.
