Hi,
I am filling DS 160 for visitor visa to visit my brother who stays in US. I have both given name and surname (ex: ABC XYZ). For both my parents details, only the first name is present and surname is not present. Actually, my parents have surname (XYZ) and in their passport, surname is reflected.
My question is while filling DS 160,what information should I fill under Father's Full name and Mothers Full Name. Should I put only the first name as shown in my passport or should I fill both names? If I put only the first name then I will have to select the surname as do not know
My concern is that my parents are in US now and if the immigration officer tries to verify information then he will find discrepancy.
Please help as this issue is urgent.
