Parents Got Visa
Hi
My parents got visitor visa today in delhi consulate. Visa duration is not sure as they are waiting for passport.
My mother can not speak english so i was trying to get the appointement in Hindi. But Delhi consulate don't have option for selecting the different language. I took the appointment in English only
I am only son and working in US on H1.
CO started the Visa interview with my mother in Hindi.
Q : Why do you want to go to US?
A : To meet my son and to see America
Q : When you are planning to go?
A : We are planning to go in April.
Questions asked to my Father
Q : You are a professor (After looking at DS 156), Can i ask you questions in English?
A : Sure
(My Father is a retired professor and he gave the 'Letter to cosnulate' and 'Invitation letter' provided by me to CO officer in the beginning. CO officer read those docs carefully. I had taken the template for these docs from this site only)
Q : what is the profession of your son?
A : He is a YYYY professional and he is on deputation at YYYY company from YYYY company bangalore
Q : For how long you want to go?
A : 2 months
Q : Will your son come back to India
A : Sure, he is planning to come back in YYYY month / Year
CO officer looked at my mother and told "Aapko VISA mil jaayega"
