  • UK visitor Visa for Indian national who is in US on tourist visa

my mom is here in US on tourist visa and will be leaving before her 6 months visa expires. she has 10 year multiple entry tourist visa for US. she wants to go to London and stay there with my brother for 6 months on tourist visa before she goes back to India. we applied UK tourist visa for her from here and it got rejected - attached is the screenshots of rejection letter. she had already been to London on two occasions in 2011 and 2013 on visitor visa and returned back to India on time.

    Documents we provided:

    1. Mom's Passport - with all UK and US visa stamps
    2. US I-94
    3. Invitation letter - stating that my brother is responsible for my mom's stay and he reassured to see that mom doesn't overstays and will return back to India
    4. Brother's Permanent Residency Card
    5. Mom's bank statemnents from INdia
    6. Brother's bank statements from India
    7. Mom's ticket from US to India in April - ticket is via London as flight is British Airways
    8. My US bank statements

    Questions:

    1. we really want her to go to London from US before returning back to India. can we reapply from here and what can we show to the VO that my mom will return back to India and will not overstay in UK?

    2. by mistake, we said in the application that my moms visa expires in April 2017 instead of mentioning the 10 year multiple visa expiration date. is that why VO mentioned in the rejection letter that he is not convinced that my mom will not overstay in uk and he said our supporting documents do not demonstrate the capacity in which she reside in the us or that she has the right to re-enter the us upon her intended return after her 6 month visit? if we reapply stating that she has visa to enter us, will that help. please note, he already saw the stamp on passport so we are assuming he already knows. just that we didn't mention in t he application.

    3. he mentioned in the letter that if we reapply, the visa will be rejected unless the circumstances change. what can we submit in proof of that?

    4. my brother holds a Permanent Residency now in the UK. is that a red signal?

    Please advise.
