Hello.
This year I filled in my voluntary abandonment of residency (form I-407) at my local embassy (Argentina).
My motives were: got divorced, couldn't sustain myself in the States nor go back every 5 months to keep my residency active and I needed to be close to my family.
I've paid all my tax duties and etc.
I own property in Argentina, have a job and no plans to move back to the US but I would like to visit the US with my mother for a vacation.
I'm wondering if applying for a B2 (tourist) makes any sense at all or if I don't hold any chances to make it happen.
In that case I do, do I need to show a copy of my divorce, I-407 and any other notices I have received from USCIS?
Thank you in advance.
