Hi,
I just filled the DS-156 and took an appointment and downloaded the confirmed appointment details. I will have to change my parents current home address. Can we change it at this point? A few more questions as follows:
Q. 16. - If they do not have a home phone no. and only cell phone no. do we need to put NA or leave it blank. I am not sure if there is a option to do so online. But can we fill it by hand if we cannot fill it online.
In Q.20 - do we need to put NA if the person is retired?
Q.29 - online if you answer NO...it automatically fills NA ...but when i downloaded the form i see it blank..do we need to fill it in or hand write it..wherever this has happened.
Q.37 - when filling online i selected Daughter and then typed the status. but i downloaded the form i see that it does not mention son or daughter..just a check mark against it and the status which i could not write fully bcos it didn't give me space...
Overall can i handwrite any missing information and NAs?
Also they want to collect their passport the same day if their visa gets accepted...is it possible to do so from Mumbai Consulate? Is there any extra fee required for it?
