Mother and Father went to interview, chennai in Feb 2006, it was denied.
Father passed away in Nov 2006.
Mother went to interview in Feb 2007, and the visa got denied.
Father Passing away is a significant change in my mothers life. She needs some change. The visa officer asked my mother why her visa got rejected the 1st time. She said that she did not know the reason. The VO analyzed the case and rejected the case saying that both your children are in the US and your husband is not there, so cannot give you the visa without asking for further documents.
My question is, my mother was not given a chance to produce the documents. She has good reasons to go back to India after her visit. Is it wise to take an appointment if we can get it in the next 2 weeks.
Any help is highly appreciated. I am the only son and in a very bad situation
