Urgent: Different name in Passport & Birth Certificate..

My MIL last name and the first name in her passport is different from her name in my wife's birth certificate. She used her maiden name as her last name in her passport and also her first name is different (uses both names at home) in her passport & my wife's birth Certi.

I am wondering if this a big problem b'cos i am sponsoring and we need the marriage certificate and my wife's birth certificate for showing the relationship.

Does she needs to change her name in her passport to the name as appears in my wife's birth certificate.

Is there any way of getting around it.... please suggest. Thanks
