My mom appeared for the interview yesterday at chennai consulate and got the visa. Ur site helped me a lot in all ways. Actually I dint send the bank letter, but instead of that as per ur advice I had sent my husband's 6 months bank statements. We just kept two seperate files like one as Sponsor's documents and other one as Visitor's documents. They just went thru the documents and asked her these questions.
1. Purpose of ur trip
Ans: To visit places and to visit my daughter and son-in-law
2. Why ur husband is not coming with u?
Ans: He is a professor and right now he couldn't get vacation
3. When can he get his holidays?
Ans: April and may
4. Do u have any other kids?
Ans: Younger daughter doing III year physiotherapy and my son is working as an engineer in kuwait
5. Why do u need 6 months visa?
Ans: To visit so many places. Three months also will do for me.
They asked the above questions and immediately said we will send ur visa thru post within three dates and pay the dd fee in the counter.
Really I'm so happy and all this is bcos of ur site only. Really u people helped me a lot. Once again I owe my thanx to u
