Hi,
My wife appered for b1/b2 from mumbai consulate yesterday.She was to accompaying me during my US visit on b1/b2 for some official meetings for 2 weeks.I do have US visa for next 8 yrs and visited US in past.
I processed my wife's b1/b2 under business visa and submitted followin documents: NOC for my wife from my employer,My Invite letter from my employer,My covering letter to the consulate for granting my wife's b1/b2,FORM 16 for past 3 years,bank statment,My marriage org certificate with 2 mrg photo.
She got rejected and the officer conveyed that reson for rejection is lack of husband's original passport.Though she handed over photocopy of the same.
I am surprised to see why she was not given 221(g ??) and why not granted for second apperance?She got 214b.Do i need to again take the interview date and process the same thing?
May i also seek some guidance what care should be taken while appearing for the second time?Can anyone guess any reason for my wife's visa rejection?
