Can my kids apply for a tourist visa?

Hey guys,

Thanks in advance.


So my family and I where invited to a wedding in UT and I need to apply for visas for my kids ( 10 yr. & 6 yr.)

And I have doubts if they can or not,. the reason is because I'm a US citizen and we are living in El Salvador.
I have a stable job, my kids go to school and my wife is going to college to obtain her degree in dental medicine.

We have no plans yet to move the states for now, that's the reason I haven't yet sponsored them to get a green card.

The reason I'm here asking is because I read in some other websites that children of US citizen & green card holder are not eligible to apply for a visa.


Is this information accurate???
