Hey all,
I (a UK citizen) am in the fortunate situation that my wife is a US citizen, which means i can still travel to the US during the travel ban directly from the UK, instead of having to go to an intermediatry country for 2 weeks.
Along with my ESTA, I also have a valid 5 year I VISA (media.)
I have a potential trip coming up where I would like to spend 1 week of a trip at my wifes apartment, before flying to another part of the US for my work, then flying home.
While I've entered on my I-VISA before, these trips have always been in-and-out work trips. I've been researching whether this dual purpose trip is acceptable in the eyes of the USA, but have yet to find anything concrete, just advice to leave and re-enter, which isn't overly practical or safe during the times of covid.
Any experience / advice would be greatly appreciated, as I'd rather find out what TSA will think before I've taken the 9 hour flight!
Thanks in advance, and happy new year.
