Has anyone recently gone through the process of acquiring a visitor visa (less than 90days) from the South African consulate in Toronto? What was your experience? What was the time period between requesting an appointment and getting an appointment? Did you have any issues at your appointment? Any additional documents not listed that was required? When you arrive for your appointment, if you have all the necessary documents (valid passport, invitation letter or travel itinerary, financial proof, travel insurance, return ticket...), the process will go smoothly. However, in some cases, additional documents are required to prove your residence or employment, so it is best to prepare carefully before arriving.
