* some dates are estimates because exact status updates on CKGS tracking page did not correspond to immihelp categories. CKGS dates are likely not real time and not completely accurate.
* application on hold 9/14 because I forgot to enclose parents' naturalization certificate copies. Emailed scanned versions directly to CKGS.
* note that the "Documents Received by Local Consulate Date" (11/16/16) is as it was updated and displayed on the Indian government tracking website; this is completely incongruent with the 11/6/16 CKGS request for matchup date, which suspiciously was right after I mailed my child's passport (without waiting for said email for matchup). Makes me think that statuses are not actually updated in real time nor even close to the time that the events happen.
* My application was processed in 41 business days from the date of acknowledgement (exactly one day less than the 42 stated on the government tracking website), but I started applying too late for my travel date.
