OCI card received in exactly a month. The documents were verified at Consular camp. This helped faster processing.
Consular office at consular camp verified all the documents with their originals at Dallas Consular camp and wrote "please accept - Verified" on documents. CKGS did not do any further verification in detail. Also, I did not send the original passport for verification as it was already verified.
I highly recommend visiting consular camp for verification.They will not accept application there, but only verify the documents.
You can visit www.cgihouston.org for consular camp dates. I guess all other missions have listed their consular camp dates on their websites.
