VFSGlobal checklist #9 incorrectly states "Copy of the marriage certificate is a must, if married." However, OCIServices states "Uploading of marriage certificate is applicable only spouse OCI applicants." That is, if Relationship with the Root Indian is SELF (#26 on OCI application form), marriage certificate is unnecessary for married applicants.
