I applied for OCI card for my family. I filled out application on march 17th 2014. BLS in New York got it within a week or so. The tracking online on BLS website kept on saying that they got the mail but is waiting for document check. Yesterday, I got all my documents back from BLS but they did not process my service. I received all my documents back as I send them with the money orders I sent them and one of the money orders for $179.70 was missing. I have been trying to get hold of someone at the BLS office in New York, but no one is answering the call. Since, they are in process of switching the contractor for all the services, I send them an email yesterday as well. Does anyone know what could be the reason for them not processing my service even after sending everything they asked for and sending full amount of money orders? I really need some help here. Thanks.
