Went to SF Consulate today at 10am, handed the statusEnquiry, US passport and got the OCI with Renunciation at 4pm. The staff lady (oriental) was very accessible and just asked if I had any email to which i replied a no. Definitely, it was worth taking the time off for this. There was one person i met who came from LA and another from seattle. Both picked up their OCI too and were quite happy. Thanks to every one on this forum to their updates and tips. Good luck to all.
