Notes:
- May 02: Application delivered to SF BLS. At consulate on 5/7
- May 22: Contacted CGI over email ([email protected]) to get Renunciation Cert.
- May 30: Received renunciation certificate Jun 04. Renunciation was done on May 6 itself.
- Jun 23: Documents Printing Status changed to PROCESSED
- Jun 24: Dispatched from Delhi.
- Jun 27: SF Consulate received OCI Card.
- Jun 30: Sent USPP to CGI-SF directly by USPS with return envelope. I asked over email and they asked me to send it to them. They gave a "4-digit file #" and asked me to write that and "Attention: OCI DISPATCH Department" on top of USPS envelope.
- Jul 01: Received a formal email from OCI to send USPP.
- Jul 03: Passport received at CGI-SF.
- Jul 07: CGI-SF sent the USPP with match-up done on 7/7
- Jul 09: Received & DONE. Once the application is past CKGS/BLS folks, it works well. At least BLS & CGI followed time commitment in my case.
