Update: 1024/2014 - PP dispatched from CKGS yesterday and received today. All done. Total about 2 1/2 months from the time I mailed the application.
Update: 10/17/2014 - PP hand delivered to CKGS office on 10/17/2014
Update: 10/16/2014 - Received email from CKGS to send in passport to matching :-), says could take upto 10 days from time passport received at consulate.
Update: 10/14/2014 - Status updated showing that documents received at SF Consulate on 10/14. Took 13 days to get here from Delhi....
Update: 01/01/2014 - Documents sent from India
Update: 9/30/14 - Status updated on GOI website today to state OCI processed and includes the OCI number assigned. Now to wait for it to be dispatched to the consulate and received at SF.
New OCI card for US born adult, based on parents being past Indian citizens.
