2 points to be noted:
1. CKGS had not requested for Visa details of minor parents. However, this is very much required. They had put our application on hold for this reason. We had also sent the I-797 forms of parents, as our visa had expired.
2. Recently, rules have changed pertaining to match up process. As per the current process, as soon as the govt website states the OCI Document received date at the Consulate, we need to contact CKGS, who will then direct us to send the passport even before we receive email from them requesting the same. This definitely helped us receive the OCI card much sooner than expected.
