Travel Medical Insurance

Purchased Insurance plan from Insubuy - Safe Travels for Visitors to the USA Administered by Co-ordinated Benefit Plans, LLC Underwritten by GBG Insurance Limited.

this was purchased for my Mother-In-Law. While purchasing this it was advertised that claims can be directly made by medical providers, which is a false claim. My Claim was denied once provider filed and they asked me to file myself and they needed travel Ticket, I94, Visa Stamp, Detail Report from Medical provider, not the summary you are given at discharge. this will huge effort for anyone. I paid medical Provider myself and then filed a manual claim through there forms to my surprise they never paid me back any money after filing claim properly. after repeated follow-ups over 3 months i got one email saying claim has been paid but to date, after another 1.5 months I have not received any Money. this seems like a scam to me.

I will not recommend anyone to buy this insurance.

There are a couple insuracnce plans I have taken to help me feel more secure when the unexpected happened; we got sea sick, stung by jellyfish, and had a car accident where the tire blew out.

Thankfully we were all okay from each of these but it was a big piece of mind to know I had coverage incase the situation was worse. Traveling brings out the unexpected almost always.
