Timeline (Aug 2017-Jan 2018)
Aug 20 - Sent Package (I130, I485, I765)
Aug 29 - I130 Petition and I765 received
Aug 30 - I485 fingerprint fee received
Sept18 - Bio-metrics appointment (NBC service center)
Nov 16 - I765 mailed EAD card
Nov 30 - Interview Appointment received for Jan 9 2018
Jan 9 - Interview (Approved!, New card ordered)
Jan 12 - New PRC Card mailed
Jan 19 - PRC in hand!
The interview appointment was schedule for 1:10 pm and we got there about 45 minutes early, our interview was pushed to 2:15 pm. Once we got called in the officer took our oaths and started with questions about both our names and asked for Identification. BTW There were 2 officers conducting our interview a woman and a man. The lady officer took our photo album and as she was looking through them the other officer (man) was asking us questions. The questions were simple of how we met, when and where and why we decided to get married. Next he asked me questions from the the application the "yes/no" questions and after he asked for my previous expired visa. Lastly he asked about my future goals as an engineering student. Once that was said he took a photo of me from his computer and asked for 3 photographs of the both of me and my wife and said to wait outside for a decision. After a nervous 25min wait, the lady called us and handed us back our IDs and said we were Approved!
