Almighty God Has Done It For Me
Hi Everyone,

My AOS journey is finally a wrap! It was a long frustrating journey but I give thanks to Almighty God for bringing it to a joyful end for me. My case didn't go as smooth as some cases I have seen on here. I am super happy but I don't want to bore you with my long story so here is my timeline:

May 2015: Package sent but got returned twice because we forgot to sign some part of the application
June 2015: We finally got it right and PD was set:
July 2015: Biometric at Jacksonville Office
August 2015: EAD received
February 2017: After one year and 7months interview was scheduled and I was using my second EAD at that time. we were separated and most questions asked were about my visa interview back in my home country and later about my relationship. Wife was called in asked the same question and got everything right but two questions. And that time our son is six months old. We were given a paper that says case must be reviewed.
March 2017: I-130 was approved
Sent several requests and contacted ombudsman after 120 days and no decision on I-485.
October 2017: Came a letter saying I have been found inadmissible for willful misrepresentation of material fact because I lied on my B1 visa application. Was asked to file for I-601. Another journey began. I had to hire a lawyer as I 601 is not DIY thing.
February 2018: I-601 sent
March 23 2018: I-601 approved
April 16 2018: received email saying Card is being Produced
April 19 2018: 10 years green card received.

I will probably get you bored if I go into the details about my case cos I have so much to tell, but I thank God it is all over now. I have never been closer to God the way I have been for the past couple after I received the NOID letter. I give all praises and honor to God cos he gave me victory in the end. i was turned down by two immigration lawyers who said I couldn't win the I-601 case. The third lawyer was mainly a criminal lawyer doing immigration on the side, he took up my case and God did wonder. This site helped me a lot and I became active on another site for my I 601 journey too. If you need any help or have any question, feel free to ask.
