Have been in US for over 4 years. Went for F1 -> H1 stamping in December.
Working for a US software company as a FTE.
11 Dec - Visa interview. Officer approved the visa and kept passport for stamping.
Received email to fill DS-5535 a couple of hours after the interview.
13 Dec - Filled and submitted the form
14 Dec - Passport returned with green 221g slip.
13 Mar - No updates yet. The date on CEAC website still shows 11th Dec.
29 Apr - Still waiting
30 May - Still waiting
11 July - Still waiting
19 Aug - Still waiting
19 Sept - Still waiting
Received an email from US embassy on 5th November to submit passport.
Passport submitted same day. Received passport with visa stamp in 2 days time.
