Froeign Spouse OCI
On April 12th 2019 Govt website showed OCI under process for one month, and we kept checking on and off, last I checked was on May 12th, and the status was the same, finally gave up that it will come when it has to.

Then on May 14th 2019, we get an email from CKGS with the FedEx tracking number that its on its way.
Today is May 15th 2019, OCI in our hand.

What we learnt from this experience that if your marriage certificate is from India you do not need it Apostilled, and only marriage certificate/Birth Certificate issued abroad has to be Apostilled for OCI, but because it was an OCI for Foreign born spouse the CKGS list automatically generates marriage certificate apostilled, and because its on the list they insist that you have to get it apostilled.

Some of the CKGS agents do not know that, I wish they knew, and we would not have had such a hard time.

Hope this helps another family that is doing OCI for foreign spouse.
